The FEI110 Series is a time-proven platform that allows quick and easy tooling changes. Designed for low-volume high-quality production, this industrial Food Equipment packaging machine is custom built for your application. The standard FEI110 Series platform is engineered to package containers that range in size from 2 inch diameter through 9 inch diameter and heights up to 9.5 inches. The machine can also be tooled to run trays at a maximum size of 9 inch by 10 inch. Additional designs can incorporate different sizes as required. The sturdy all aluminum design reduces the weight to a manageable 215 pounds. The teflon-free heater-head tooling is machined out of stainless steel for its temperature retaining and non-corrosive properties. Six bolts release the tooling and quick-disconnect air and electrical connectors allow for fast change-overs.
Engineered for Ease of Use
The intuitive operator interface (iOI) keypad screen has a clear layout for production options that reduces time training operators. The FEI110 Series regularly operates at speeds of 20 cycles per minute at the minimum rate of the operator, with or without the gas-flush cycle enabled. The optional gas-flush cycle fills the container with a blanket of gas (such as Nitrogen) keeping packaged products fresher, longer. Various indications on the iOI display alarms and faults regarding the heating temperature, heater burnout, sealing process and many others. The sealing temperature is displayed on the iOI, but is controlled by an independent temperature controller which is mounted in the electrical enclosure. The industrial container sealer is capable of packaging trays, buckets and cups, along with many other types of containers.
Minimal Footprint
The standard FEI110 unit is powered by single-phase 110vAC using up to only 10 Amps. The 90 PSI of compressed air is consumed at an average rate of 1.3 CFM @ 20 cycles / min. Using a push and pull motion, the operator easily packages product then using a rotary motion, indexes the sealing film for the next cycle. The 45″ wide by 25″ deep by 38″ tall footprint is most commonly placed on a table and can also be secured to its own frame with optional casters.
