The FEI620 is a self-contained hydraulic cheese cutter. It is capable of exerting more than 4,900 pounds of force per cylinder (as opposed to the same size pneumatic cylinder that is only capable of 480 pounds) while avoiding the build-up and release of pressure when cutting.

The interchangeable harp sets allow for a quick and easy change-over between the various sizes and shapes. Two-hand touch control buttons ensure the operators hands are clear of danger when cutting. These illuminated buttons provide feedback to the operator regarding the system status and any detected faults.
The NEMA 4X enclosures protect the UL Certified electrical backpanels from the harsh chemicals and environmental factors of the production process. The machine’s frame is designed with openings so that all major components can easily be cleaned and inspected. Thread exposure is minimized with most mounting locations having been designed so that the fasteners seal the hole. The guards are easily removable for cleaning & change-over and incorporate safety switches for each guard.
The AutomationDirect CLICK Series programmable controller is an economical choice for simple control and monitoring with built-in Ethernet. To assist maintenance personnel, all external wiring (except the hydraulic motor) terminate on LED indicating terminal blocks which are mounted on angled stand-off DIN rail.
